  • Dr. Ito, who was the only foreign speaker, delivered her condolence after Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse and Opposition leader Ranil Wickremasinghe spoke at the state funeral. According to a newspaper “ the Island”, in tears, Ito said that the Mahanayake Thero was an admissible member of the sangha.
